Supercharge Your Engagement on Twitter Without Loosing Your Mind
I’m relatively new to twitter. I’m exactly a month old today. Yeah! Happy B Day me! Since then I’ve gained over 400 followers. BUT, I HAVE A PROBLEM!
I just can’t keep up with the amount of followers. My problem is keeping on base with those that have engaged with me so that I can develop those relationships.
My feed just blast through and I don’t get the opportunity to engage with the right people. I forget who I had talked with and who retweeted my content.
People that interact with me are high value followers because they can exponentially increase the amount of impressions of my content.
If you play your cards right, you can build relationships with people. Customer relationships or even business relationships depend on your ability to nurture that small relationship you had.
This is my solution to developing relationships on twitter and engaging with my high value followers.
Create lists for people that you want to or have already engaged with
- Go to your twitter profile page and create new list.
- Go to the profile of the person that has engaged with you and click on the settings icon next to the follow button.
- Click on add to or remove from list, job done!
Now all you have to do is go into your lists to stay engaged with those high value followers who favorite, retweet and share your content.
My Next problem!! how to automatically remove followers who unfollowed me because unfollowers.com, an automation tool doesn’t seem to be accurate and it just takes far to long to unfollow them one by one.
UPDATE: I now have over 3.5k followers on Twitter. I put together a guide to help you manage your followers and grow your follower base. Follow the link to “The No Bullshit Guide to Growing Your Twitter Followers”
